That's great, and the English version is RSN! :-)
Here's the Fairware blurb I just translated to settle this once and for
all!:
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Extract from ST-Guide STG file:
===========================================================================
This hypertext system is Fairware, i.e. it can be used by anyone
without cost and may be passed on to anyone, on the understanding that
distribution is free of charge. Regular users should contribute
a donation to ensure the continued development of the system.
ST-Guide may be included along with any other program packages,
irrespective of whether they are Commercial or Shareware without a
licence fee becoming payable. I would however appreciate some
recognition for my efforts and these are my suggestions:
a) A reference that ST-Guide is Fairware and programmed and
available from me, Holger Weets.
b) You send me a disk containing your program and the corresponding
hypertext.
In return for your support we can monitor the spread and of ST-Guide and
provide you with infomation on updates as they become available.
Since the main purpose of ST-Guide is for writing documentation for
other programs, it may be distributed in two forms:
1) Complete, the entire package with all the files belonging to it.
This is the preferred method, even if the distribution is within
another program package.
2) Just the viewer and the documentation, if the distribution is
within another program package AND if the documentation
for that program is also included in ST-Guide format.
Contributions:
This program package is the result of a great deal of work. We
have nevertheless decided to publish it as Fairware to make it
possible for anyone to write documentation for their programs
with it. But it would only be fair if users would send us a small
donation as an acknowledgement for our work.
Although it's not a requirement, it will however motivate us to
continue working on this project to add the enhancements and
features you request.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Any suggestions gratefully recieved by PERSONAL Email before this gets set
in stone?
The new version will hopefully be up on: micros@hensa.ac.uk in about a week
but I need to get the latest version to Holger for checking by snail mail
first :-(
[FX light bulb illuminates above head]
Is there anyone who could get the archive to Holger quicker?
Someone with Internet access and also able to drop it in his Maus mailbox
(or send him a disk from inside Germany? That could save a almost a week!
I have a few loose ends to finish up we have a day or two to come up with
a faster route, answers on a postcard direct to me please!
